Privacy Policy

How AVYOMI handles your family's data.

1. Who we are

AVYOMI provides a child-health record for parents and, where parents grant access, for their child's clinicians. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address and authentication details.

Child health information you enter: name, date of birth, sex, gestational age at birth, growth measurements, developmental milestone observations, immunisation records, and any documents you upload.

Sharing information: the caregiver and clinician access grants you create, and records of access to your child's data.

Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device and log data.

3. How we use it

To provide the service: storing your child's record, calculating percentiles and z-scores against published references, generating milestone lists and immunisation timelines, and sending the reminders you have enabled.

To keep the service secure and reliable, including detecting abuse and maintaining audit records of access to clinical data.

To support you when you contact us.

We do not use your child's health information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

4. Who can see your child's record

By default, only you. Other people gain access only through a grant you create — a caregiver you invite with the permissions you choose, or a clinician you authorise. You can withdraw any grant at any time, and it stops working immediately.

Our own staff do not browse health records. Access for support or maintenance is limited, purpose-bound and logged.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

Health data is stored with access controls enforced at the database level, and uploaded documents are kept private and served only through short-lived links.

We keep your child's record while your account is active. You can export it, and you can delete your account, which removes the associated health data other than what we must retain for legal or security reasons.

6. Children

AVYOMI accounts are held by adults. Children do not create accounts. The record concerns a child but is controlled by their parent or legal guardian.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete the data you have entered, and withdraw sharing at any time. To make a request, contact privacy@avyomi.app.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
